Google Maps may take you near Walmart or Lowe's instead of directly to Think Lounge, so be sure to look at the building behind Whataburger, and you'll find it! Free parking is included on site, and there are ample parking spaces in the lot.

Do you wish you could have more of the kinds of conversations you have late at night where for some reason, you feel safe talking about the things you actually care about?

Bring your friends (or come by yourself) and spend your Saturday morning at an event where you know everyone else is there for the same reason.

We'll be offering "big talk" conversational prompts on them to get you started, and we'll have lots of structure to make sure that you actually talk to people and that it's not awkward. Not feeling like answering a particular question? No worries, we'll have plenty to choose from, like, "When are you the happiest?" and, "If you were going to become close friends with me, what would I need to know about you?" We'll give you ground rules to make sure you feel comfortable and safe sharing as much of yourself as possible while still feeling in complete control of how much you divulge.

There will be food and non-alcoholic drinks for sale!

Think Lounge is a serene, comfortable coworking café that offers optional childcare for working parents and entrepreneurs in the Austin area. During this Skip the Small Talk workshop, parents and caretakers can enjoy the event while taking advantage of Think Lounge's safe, screen-free (no TVs, tablets, etc.) childcare, if needed. You can also enjoy their lovely cafe and assortment of caffeinated/non-caffeinated beverages, pastries, and treats. This event is open to EVERYONE, and we especially welcome all parents and caretakers to enjoy this workshop!

*Note: Childcare and café purchases are NOT included with your event ticket - they are available for purchase directly at Think Lounge on the day of the workshop.*

While Think Lounge is usually closed on weekends, they will be open especially for our event on Saturday morning!
